3Descent option for protecting your Motorola Xoom.  Jan 29, 2012

I bought this case because I am an avid writer/blogger. I needed an alternative to the Xoom's native, on-screen touch keyboard. as well as a means to prop up the screen for a better viewing angle while typing. All in all this case does what it says it does. There is absolutely nothing special about it and the designers left out a few features that would have been helpful. The leather slot where you slide in your Xoom doesn't really conform tightly to the device, leaving slack that obstructs parts of the screen from some viewing angles. There is no clasp or other means of securing the case when it is closed. I also experienced connectivity issues with the Bluetooth keyboard, after several minutes of trying I was able to connect to it, but some of the keyboard's special keys (Xoom's "back" and "home-screen" buttons) didn't work at all. Also, this is a "waterproof" keyboard, meaning it's covered in a thin layer of rubber, making typing slower. They keyboard charges via mini USB and includes a mini USB to USB adapter cable, but no means of plugging it into the wall.

This case is mediocre. I am still keeping an eye out for better options.
