Greatest decision you will ever make Jul 12, 2012
By Jason I bought to have on my desk at work. I have a bunch of Batmen, Spider-Men, Sonic the Hedgehogs, Futurama toys, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles...the usual stuff that you'll find on a geeky guy's desk. I felt a lot of shame though, because I only had a Shyguy and a Bullet Bill from this set. No Mario. No Luigi. No goomba. So I got this because it's "all" of them and because I'm a grown man and that's what grown men do: buy children's toys to put on their desks at work when they see them for an exceptional value.
Well, let's set the story straight right now: It's great. I'm happily married, so this doesn't affect me at all, but once I got these guys on my desk the ladies in the office just started THROWIN' IT at me! Like I was David Duchovney at a SETI convention in 1998 or something. Just left and right, I'm having to say "Ladies, please! Stop leaving notes for me under my keyboard and, most of all, stop following me home!" As open-minded as my wife is, I have to think she'd frown at that behavior.
Anyway, wrapping it up...
Pros: - Great toys - Lots of toys - Total chick magnets
Cons: - If you're married, be careful. No one wants their divorce to be spurred on by the Mario Bros.

Kids and Fans of the Mario Universe will Love Them Apr 27, 2011
By NniikKQ I am a parent of three small children who love Mario and everything to do with Mario. My sons eighth birthday was coming up and he wanted some Mario toys to play with when he wasn't playing Mario in some video game. I saw these on Amazon they looked really neat because they contained more than just the normal few characters you always see. The only thing I was worried about was the quality and size, they were so cheap that I really didn't know what to expect, but when they showed up I had a feeling that all my kids were gonna love them, and I was right. Since my son opened them up, I think at least one of my children has been playing with them every waking hour for the past week, and so far none of them have broken and with my kids that's rally saying something. Now two inches may sound pretty small but my kids seem to think they are the perfect size for playing and pretending. The only problem my kid seem to have is, when we're gonna get some more and sharing the one's we do have. I have to say having grown up with Mario myself these little guys are pretty cool and I'm glad my kids are collecting them. Anyway great product, great price, very satisfied, and the kids are happy so I'm happy.

A Good Buy, but only if your kid is a real Mario fanatic. Nov 16, 2010
By J. Ray I ordered these recently to serve as stocking stuffers for my son. He had gotten a little Mario figure from the local K-Mart for $5 and it is basically one of the same ones in this set, side by side I see no difference. He absolutely loves his little mario, even though it essentially does... Nothing. So I justified the [...] with shipping this set is.
Honestly I would say this was a good buy for me in my kids situation. Here are the pros:
1. You get a lot of characters, enough to essentially satiate a kid who wants all things Mario
2. The Figures are surprisingly well detailed. Each one is painted just like it looks in the Wii games and a few are even tastefully shaded. This part I was actually pleasantly shocked by.
Cons:
1. Theses are tiny little 2-3" plastic toys with no positionable parts.
So take that for what it is and that is if your kid is freaking out for all things Mario these are going to please them mightily, but if Mario is a passing interest I would spend the money on a more interesting toy, or another Mario game.

Probably better served with a Mario game, but this set does have quite a few characters Sep 19, 2012

"MAC"
This set is a good purchase for those looking to get several Mario figurines at once. We've had these for a while and the quality is good in regards to durability and the artwork present on the figurines themselves.
My real criticism is the duplication of Luigi, Mario, and Yoshi. Of the eighteen characters, eight of these are Mario (3), Luigi (3), and Yoshi (2). Granted, they are in different poses, put personally I would rather have additional characters than different versions of the same character. Too bad they didn't include Wart, Tryclide, Fryguy, or Mouser from "Super Mario Bros. 2", since they did include Shyguy. Anyway, you are able to score a large number of characters for a pretty cheap price, so the value is good here.
As far as figurines go, these are figurines, not action figures. There are no movable parts. One possible use for these are decorations (such as toppers for cakes or cupcakes or baked goods) for birthday parties or stocking stuffers for Christmas. If your kids are really into Mario (mine are) these are a good small purchase.
But if your kids are only slightly into Mario, do them a favor. Buy them a Mario game. Then believe me, they'll REALLY be into Mario!
Characters: -Luigi 1 -Luigi 2 -Luigi 3 -Mario 1 -Mario 2 -Mario 3 -Yoshi 1 -Yoshi 2 -Princess Daisy -Princess Peach Toadstool -Toad -Donky Kong -Bob Omb -Flying Goomba -Bullet Bill -Koopa Troopa -Lakitu -Shyguy (my personal favorite)
