definitely satisfied. Jan 28, 2012
By SuperEboy I actually got this as a replacement keyboard on my Pavilion dv4-1435dx. The original keyboard that came installed on my laptop the "D" key had stopped working -- I guess my middle finger was a little too forceful -- and it broke the membrane underneath.
I was hesitant in getting this item for two reasons:
- First, I was concerned that the item would be too difficult to install. I modestly consider myself fairly computer knowledgeable, but know from previous experiences that laptops aren't usually made to tamper with.
- Secondly, I was concerned that my white dv4 might not be capable with this specific black keyboard. Of course, this wouldn't have been a concern at all had I done a little research.
My delivery arrived on time. Keyboard arrived in great condition. Most importantly, the keyboard was extremely easy to install -- took me less than 10 minutes from start to finish. Unscrew the three screws that have a keyboard clearly marked next to them, carefully remove the old one, connect the new one, screw the screws back in. That easy. And my new black keyboard on my white laptop looks rad and I'm very satisfied with the product.
The only gripe that I would have, not that it affects me, is that the keyboard delivered had no screws sent with it. Had I not replaced my old keyboard and had those screws handy, that could have proven as a conflict. Nonetheless, I was surprised on how easy and quick it took for me to install. Now I can put this new QWERTY keyboard to work!

By Sean Took a while to deliver, and then took a long time to install on my laptop (they do not make it easy to replace one of these). The keyboard worked fine except that the end key was not attatched when I got it and I had to figure out how to put it back on, and the delete key does not work at all (which is frustrating but not enough for me to send it back). It gets the job done.
