I charged it up and used it, I plugged it in to charge it and when I came back the laptop was off. I tried to turn the laptop on and it would lock up, yes it was plugged into power. Put my old battery back in and thing work great just does not last as long as I would like, 1.5 hour. Still looking for a battery that has 95% positive reviews.

Battery had trouble charging at first, and said it was at 0% despite being fully charged (thus laptop wouldn't turn on). However, after completely discharging it, it is slowly recharging. OK product, not very long-lasting but wasn't really expecting much.

Battery works great for my Acer computer. My other battery died in 1 min and tghis one last me about 3 hours. Item is great for your computer if you had your computer for a long time and it the battery dies fast on you.

I have only had this for a few hours but it fit my computer which I was very nervous about. My battery says it is 100% and I am not plugged into the wall for the first time in 3 months. So far so good

My hp pavilion DV4 laptop was no longer running or coming on unless it was plugged in even though a battery check found nothing wrong. Then the message was the battery was installed but not charging, even though it said 85%. I tried all the fixes on the net, but nothing worked so I ordered this replacement battery for my DV4 to see if the issue was a bad battery. And apparently it was. The issues I was having went away, the battery charged right up, and so far I'm quite pleased to replace the battery for about 15% of what HP charges for a new one. So I'm giving it 5 stars for now, and I'll come back and edit this review if any problems arise in the future. If it holds up for any time at all, my initial opinion is, it's great for what it costs.
