 Battery Review for Dell Latitude D820 Jan 15, 2011

Battery arrived on time and installed easily. Computer recognized the battery and began to charge to 100%. After a couple of weeks, the charge only attained 99%.... here it is 4 weeks after purchasing and installing and the battery charge attained is 96%... I have a feeling that this unit will be failing any time soon.

I started using this battery the latter part of October, 2010. The battery arrived on time and in good conditioned. It looked very much like the OEM battery in color, just a little darker. It has been through many recharge cycles and has not lost much of its charge time during use. I would highly recommend this battery as an aftermarket replacement. The savings between the "real" thing at DELL and the price here is nothing short of amazing.

Used in Dell Latitude D830. Battery fit fine, was recognized by the OS (WIndows XP), and charged to 100%. Let it discharge while using the computer and it seemed to hold a decent charge. I'd say I got abou 2.5 to 3 hours of video watching. Will have to see for durability...

After an old battery of mine burnt out I figured Amazon would be a good place to go and buy one. This battery has excellent life and so far has been nothing but excellent. Recommended.

This battery performed ok for about two months. It never lasted nearly as long as the original battery did between charges, and after I ran the laptop down it will no longer take a charge. Even worse the laptop won't power on while plugged in. The original battery which I still have allows the laptop to power on when plugged in. If I remove power it immediately shuts off. Without a battery present the laptop will not power on. With this battery in it now, the laptop will not power on. So I've gone back to the original dead battery because at least that allows me to use the laptop, and I'm ordering a different battery from someone else.
