I was clumsy and lost a few keys on my old keyboard, and I decided a complete replacement would be the easiest and cheapest option. This was exactly what I needed for my HP G62 computer. This replacement seems to respond just like the original. If you need a replacement, this is a perfect option.

After being told it would be close to $300 to have my HP laptop keyboard replaced, if I could find one and someone to do it, I found an exact HP replacement keyboard on Amazon. With shipping, it was a little less than $25, ( I had looked and found keyboards on other sites for as much as $90) and it was delivered on the date promised. I found a do it yourself video on how to replace the keyboard on YouTube. It took 15 mins worth of work to remove and replace. Funny thing about the entire ordeal was I received Amazon gift cards for Christmas from my son and I did not know anything about Amazon till I starting looking and discovered OME parts for computers.

I destroyed my old keyboard. It had five keys missing, and a ton of wear. The option of buying a whole new keyboard was the obvious solution, seeing as buying the single keys that I needed would have put me out twenty dollars more, plus shipping!
I had some trouble putting it in, but that was really due to my own stupidity, and had nothing to do with the keyboard, itself. I also bought a rubber keyboard cover, to hopefully avoid having the same problems with my keys, again!
Overall, the keyboard works perfectly it would have been amazingly easy to put it in, had I just paid a little more attention to the layout of the laptop. I'm sure that anyone else would be no problem, at all!
