The new fan is running quietly, and the computer seems to be behaving properly. However, only three of the four screws can be lined up, and with the positioning pods out of place, the heat sink does not lay flat against the CPU. I dosed it pretty heavily with Arctic Silver, so far so good. Can't give five stars to a part with fitment issues, but I'm satisfied thusfar.

Only 3 of the 4 retaining screw holes on this part line up with the mounting holes. The heatsink is too large, and if you try to adapt it to fit like I did, you risk causing a hard power fault and compromising your entire laptop.
It's a poorly made part that doesn't fit properly.
It may be my fault for trying to make a poor part fit into the laptop, but I wouldn't have if the part was right to begin with.
