The battery on my laptop was giving me a whopping 10-12 minutes off electric. If you use a laptop you know how useful that is - not at all. I looked around at local stores and they wanted over $100 for new battery. Someone I know sent me a link to this battery on Amazon. It was a great buy!! I have been using it for a while now and I still get some 2 hours with it.

I was a little skeptical with the price.
I bought two and both work better than the one that came with my computer
one last nearly 5 hours and the other over 3 hours. The original last 2 hours 45 minutes

I had a little trepidation when I bought it from Amazon, because it wasn't a Toshiba product. However, I'm very satisfied with the way its working. It's giving me over 2 hours of battery time on my laptop, and, is working as advertised.

My old battery had only a 15 min charge, where it used to last 6 hours. the replacement is aftermarket and last about 3.5 hours.

I am not a computer whiz, but I do feel like this battery was worth the purchase price. I thought my computer was broke but I decided to purchase this battery as a last attempt on its survival--it worked, so for me, it was worth every penny. The charge does not hold as long as I would hope for but I don't travel much, so it isn't a major concern for me. The price was great, the item came as expected, and it works, so I am happy. If you have higher expectations, you might want to pay much more for a higher quality battery? I hope this helps...
