I just received the battery today. My T61 recognizes the battery just as if it was an actual IBM/Lenove battery, and reports that it has a capacity of 73Wh. The exterior appears to made just as well as the stock batteries, but it was hard to get it to lock into place, although it finally did so. I took one star off for that, but am pleased overall with the purchase.

I was reluctant to try out a non-OEM battery, but I wasn't going to pay 1/3 of the original cost of a 2 year old laptop for a battery. This was so so attractively priced I figured I'd try it out. ThinkPad power manager has no issue with it, meets the advertised power spec, gives me hours of up-time, fits perfectly.

Why pay big bucks for a replacement battery? This product fits perfectly and can power the Thinkpad for as long as the original battery did when it was new. I think the only question is how long will it last -- only time will tell. But so far, I'm glad I didn't spend the big bucks for an OEM product or for an expensive substitute.
