Great sound for the money. Apr 07, 2011
By Tamberlynn It is unusual to find a product this good for the money. The noise reduction is excellent as is the sound quality, excellent tight bass. A pleasant surprise.

For the price, good deal Feb 28, 2012

I had recently purchased a mp3 player. And since I fly back and forth to work I decided I needed something to help kill the engine noise while in the plane. As advertised it cancels out the noise in a specific noise range, which is what I expected. It does not however cancel all outside noise, but does lessen it some. The sound quality is good, not great. The bass response is good, again, not great. For the money yes these headphones do exactly what they claimed and I am content with them. I also like he fact During take off and landing when you have o turn off all electronic devices you can still wear them, while on, to cancel out the noise and unplug the cable so it is not just dangling around.
You shouldn't be allowed to call yourself "noise cancelling" if you don't have ANR Mar 16, 2012
By The Adam It just plays white noise. That's not active noise reduction. So when the description says "Dual-use capability with or without noise cancellation." one might expect that this broken english can be interpreted as "when you turn it on, it will emit a sound wave with the antiphase to the outside noise."

By Christina Karl Very happy with this purchase, great comfort and carry case. Only complait is the fussy ear cover come off sometimes but easy to clean and transport without worry of being damaged!

A Disappointing Product Jul 05, 2011
By Rebecca Combs

I previously had a pair of Creative noise-cancelling headphones which, after six years, needed to be replaced. Having used this product, I wish I still had the old pair. These headphones create an annoying white-noise sound, which is distinctly audible when they are used without plugging them in to an audio device. They do not fit very closely to my ears; the cushioning should have been a little thicker and more flexible to conform more closely. Also, I have to turn up the volume much higher on my Zune than I would like. With my old headphones, I could comfortably listen to music on an airplane at 7 or 8 (out of 20); with these, it ranged from 10 to 15, with the volume adjustment on the headphones at maximum.
In summary, this is not a very good set of headphones. I would recommend finding something a little more expensive and hopefully more intelligently designed.
