Stylishly Useful Aug 26, 2010
By Mimi I've been trying out the Elan Passport wallet from Griffin for about a month. It's made of black perforated leather with a soft anti-scratch suede interior. It holds my iPhone, has space for 2 credit cards/id and a flap where I can tuck a couple of 20 dollar bills. It opens like a small book, and has conveniently placed openings for all of the ports, speakers, and camera lens. I like the way the case protects my iphone from getting scratched, dirty, or damaged when it's in my backpack or purse. The case feels nice in my hand and opens easily. I think it looks great so when I go out I can carry a few essentials in one small wallet and don't have to take a purse. All in all I've found the case stylishly useful.

A good case Sep 23, 2010
By J. Kunkel Beidermeyer
"Spazmo"
The Elan Passport Wallet is a great iPhone case. It's not perfect, but it quite good, and for me, it eliminates the problem of grabbing my wallet and forgetting my phone. The build quality is excellent, and the perforations keep it from being slippery.
At first, the slots that hold the credit card are tight, and it's a bit of work retrieving them. But after a little bit of break in time, they work just right. Mine holds my credit card, debit card and drivers license, and usually 1 bill - anything more than that will make it uncomfortable to use. If you have to carry a lot of cash, I suggest getting a money clip and using it in tandem with this case.
The case is easy to hold when open - it folds over completely so you can use your phone easily. The phone is easy to access and use. My only complaint is that the leather on the face of the phone is a bit thick - I have big hands and have a little difficulty reaching the farthest characters on my onscreen keypad.
All the ports and buttons are easy to access. The camera isn't blocked, however you can get a little glare from the flash. It's not a big deal for me - I just slip the phone from the case for photography (it's just easy to manage) like taking a camera from a case.
Overall, It's shortcomings are reasonably minor and I think this is the best case I've had. I've noticed a lot of other iPhone users asking me about it.

Nice yet problematic. Jan 06, 2011
By Brandon This case in a nice one and relatively cheaper than other similar cases with the same function. I brought this case because it cost 20$ compared to other brands that were ranged from 80$ and up. The iPhone 4 fits perfectly, but there are only 2 pouches to hold cards (1 pouch to hold cash also) and the case makes it hard to touch the edges of the phone's screen. Also the case is thicker than what it looks like in an image (you won't need to worry about the phone being damaged though).

Nice but not functional Dec 28, 2010
By Simon's Selection The whole point of any case is to aid in the use of your device besides being a protective cover. While aesthetic looking, the perimeter overlay covering the iPhone prevents you from typing and utilizing the edge of the screen well. This happens with frequency whether you're texting or utilizing the browser to the extend that I have all but given up on the case. It is just not worth the grief! Stay away.

Good Design and good shipping Sep 29, 2010
By Joe The design is good and well constructed overall. The only cons that I notice in the top and bottom parts of the cover. It covers the speaker and mic. The seller was responsible the information was correct and the shipping arrived early.
