9053 helicopter defect Dec 26, 2011
By rangel This seller has for me an excellent service. the problem is that the 9053 model helicopter has a manufacturing defect. then you use it three or four times does not fly forward. change it in the store where you buy and the new one has the same problem

Crash and burn with the DH 9053 Sep 13, 2011
By Toy land Being somewhat of an RC rookie, I went ahead and purchased the Double Horse 9053 thinking "how hard can it be to fly one of these toys". Little did I know that the blades fly off about as fast as my temper wondering why I bought this crazy thing. Now after a set of new blades and half a bottle of gorilla glue I think I have the hang of making it go up and around (never had the problem with it coming down). I would caution the buyer who thinks that an RC helicopter is a toy unless you buy a tiny micro copter for around the garage or office. This item is a large tempermental flying machine that needs zero breeze and a lot of room to navigate.
Next time...I'll go with an airhog and not worry about taking my neighbors chimney out.
Nice beginner helicopter May 21, 2012
By Eng208 This helicopter was as described. I charged it out of the box, which took about 3 hours. I carried it outside to fly for the first time due to it's size. This was my first real RC Heli. I was amazed at how fast it would lift off. I initially had absolutely no control and was over correcting as most inexperience fliers do. I did however avoid crashes. In about 10 minutes of flight time, I had this one under control and sold it to a friend to start out with. I then ordered a 4 channel 9116 from the same vendor.
It just OK. if you got a gym to fly in. May 14, 2012

beware blades fly off Feb 10, 2012
By morktron I'm very confident flying an indoor rc chopper but was very surprised to realise the Double Horse can not handle a breath of wind, what is worse is that the blades just fly off whilst flying!
If I'd known the manufacturing quality was so low I would not have wasted my money. Does anyone know of an rc chopper that can keep it's blades whilst in flight?
