i have bought a couple of converters like this at the same price and they were not as nice when it comes to features or look. i would definitely recommend this to anyone who asks me.

I tried two different cheap adapter cables that promised to broadcast a picture from my DVD player to an old LCD (VGA) monitor. No luck. So I took the plunge and got this device. It works PERFECTLY! We've been using it for about 3 months now with no issues.

Use those old CRT Monitors Mar 01, 2011

I needed another TV to use with my dvd player since my old tv set broke. Rather than replace the TV with a new one I decided to use one of the many old CRT monitors that people keep giving me. This adapter is just what I needed to use to connect the RCA video cable from the dvd player to the CRT monitor signal cable. It works great and provides a better picture than the old TV I was using before.
Since the CRT monitor has no sound I used some spare amplified computer speakers for audio. So now I have a good picture with stereo sound and use up some of the electronics clutter around here.

I always have some issue when I am ready to go from TV to PC.The letters that your PC normally shows are clear once passed through this converter it looks like crap. Text is very hard to read even when settings are set perfectly. It looks VERY VERY BAD. I used it for 4 days and I have to return it. I would not recommend this to do anything. It is to hard to read, and its video color is wired. I guess you get what you pay for

The converter was a nice addition to improving my gaming setup. It is small compared to other brand and converters, which performs the same function. Easy to hook up to your monitor and any other applicable item (PSP, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360).
