Adjustable Kickstand Aluminum iPad Stand has poor overall design. iPad is not held in place, corners do not grab. Unit with iPad is top heavy. Base is too narrow and too light. I thought about winding 4 rubberbands, 1 around each corner - but this is a manufactured and designed item. A short and wide box attached to the base & shipped empty could be filled with sand or water by the customer - but this is a manufactured and designed item. Most anyone could probably make a better device in their garage. I returned this item, and instead bought a Thought Out Stabile PRO Pivoting iPad 2 Stand for 5 times the price. But, I'm sure it will have less than 1/5 the problems. Every now and then I have to be reminded not to "cheap out" by purchasing the least expensive item possible.
