By Antonio Jose Flores GT-P1000 is my tab (you can find what type is yours in Settings>about) if you just want to charge your tab with this cable you can do it from everywhere (usb ports). And obviously you can't spect to transfer data with it. The quality is not HD as they say but is good enough to see all your stuff in your tab reflected in the tv like games, movies, pics and browser.

Since the price is cheap, I gave it a try and received the cable and the card reader shortly after purchased. At first, I tried to plug the yellow video cable into that of a component cable but didn't get anything but grayscale pictures. After digging around the house, I found an old TV with the composite video plugs (yellow & red). It worked. Afterward, I plugged it into a new projector TV and it worked great with better quality. So, I decided to keep the cable. The card reader worked really nice, too. The USB cable can be tugged away and it became a 1 inch black cube. I tried it on a Dell Ultrasharp monitor under 60Hz, the picture quality was as expected since video of 360p looks okay on a TV, it did not look okay on a computer monitor. When kept at 1:1 ratio, the picture became good. The best picture quality was on those near HDTV with video cable and both audio cable red and white (full composite).
For about 10 bucks, I got a video cable, charger, and a card reader, that's a great deal. I found that when I use this cable, the P1000 shows that the P1000 was charging in other usb ports like the ones on my laptop, monitor, apple iphone charging white, cube usb port, and more. It showed charging status which is weird. As long as it was charging and my P1000 was okay, I'm content!
