The mysterious glow can be seen climbing several miles in the sky for around 10-12 minutes. Chinese Paper Lanterns, in China we call them Kongming Lantern.

You and your loved ones light them, make a wish and then let them go. Flight ceases when all the fuel has been burnt and the flame subsides.

As the air in the paper lantern cools it will gently float back to the ground for a safe landing.

The Lanterns will fly to more than 1,000 meters in altitude, providing an amazing show for all! Why not release several in one go at a wedding for a romantic light show and watch out for UFO sightings in the morning papers.

Please follow the instructions on the packaging and on the instruction leaflet enclosed with every Sky Lantern.
1. Always keep water or fire extinguishers nearby.
2. Children must not be left unattended with the lanterns.
3. Make sure that you familiarize yourself fully with the instructions provided.
4. Ensure that the wind is not stronger than 5 mph.
5. Ensure that trees are not in the flight path.
6. Must be released more than 5 miles away from any airports.
7. Do not use around dry crops.
8. Wear sensible clothing that is does not dangle around your hands or flap around any flame
9. Check the direction of the wind prior to launch to verify flight path ensuring there are no obstacles. Ensure the lantern is fully opened, not creased or at an angle.
10. Please contact your local Coastguard station if you intend to use Sky Lanterns near the coast, as they can get confused with distress flares.
