Very surprised that it works wonderful- (UPDATED) NOT HAPPY NOW Jun 07, 2012
By Shawn Readence
"loves to shop"
UPDATED- Its been been over and month and one is completly broke and the other one is sucking down batteries every single day. The red light stays on and drains the battery. What a waste. One month I got use out of these cheap collars. I am not even about to contact the seller because when the item was shipped they have a horrible strick return policy so I know they wont even want to talk to me being a month or so over the return date. Man I am upset $18.99 (with shipping) down the toilet and worst off now I have to buy more.
ORIGINAL REVIEW WHEN I GOT THE PRODUCT- I was actually very skeptical about this due to it being so cheap. I figured "you buy cheap, you get cheap". Well this was not the case. The remote itself feels cheaply made but the overall use of the collar and remote are simply amazing. I am not for shock collars but due believe in vibration training collars. I use it on my 15 pound chihuahua all the way to my 150 great dane. If you have any issues of barking non stop and out of control I swear by this that it only took 3 vibrations to have all 4 of my dogs learn. Now just the sight of the collar getting put on them stops them in their tracks. I ordered one just to try now I am going back to order 2 more. Don't waste your money on extremely high cost collars. I am more than happy that I got this and so are my neighbors. Ha ha

Works great! Good price! Apr 24, 2012
By K. Martinez There aren't many reviews for this so I wanted to put in my two cents. I was looking for something for my pappillion that would stop the constant barking. I didn't want a shock collar and had tried several other sound and vibrate collars. This one works! He doesn't respond much to the sound but the vibrate gets him. I wasn't sure since it was so cheap but it does work well, my prayers are answered.

Didn't make it through 6 weeks of training. Sep 13, 2012
By Pitbull13Lover I bought this for my deaf dog during obedience school. I needed one with a remote controlled one and did not want the shock. I picked this because it was cheap. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something he didn't respond to. Well training was great and he responded to it. But we just finished up with week 4 and it broke. The batteries lasted a long time and so I replaced them. Both parts light up but the signal is not connected I guess.
Also I wish there was on on/off switch on both things. Only way to turn it completely off is to unscrew it and take out the batteries.
Overall, if you want a cheap version to see if it works on your pet before spending a couple hundred on a nicer one then this is great for that purpose. You will need to upgrade if it breaks to better quality but at least it was only $20 to waste instead of more.

Good training aid, wish batteries would last longer. Aug 14, 2012
By Barbie

I've been using this as a training aid for my 1 year old Bichon Frise puppy, and I love how easily it gets his attention without hurting him.
I'd previously bought a remote control training collar for him, but it turned out to be an actual shock collar, even after I diligently read the product description over and over again to ensure it *wasn't* a shock collar, all that was specified was that it sends a "stimulus" designed to get the dog's attention. After trying it on myself, I was shocked (pun intended) at how intense it was!
So, I set out to look for another type of training aid that wouldn't be a shock collar and would be honest in its description. This is the one! Of course I tried it on myself upon receiving it! It sends a short 1-second vibration that is in no way painful, just strong enough to get my puppy's attention long enough so I can correct his behavior on the spot.
The remote control is very small and convenient. It has a small through-hole at the bottom so it can be easily knotted to a lanyard that has a loop of thread at the end. (think "cow hitch") The receiver unit comes with a collar strap, which in my case was too long for my puppy, so what I did was I got a separate collar, size Small and 3/4 inch wide. I attached it to the receiver unit and it fits perfectly!
The only downside and reason for my 4 stars is that the receiver unit runs out of batteries very quickly. I use the collar on my puppy maybe once a week for about a half hour and always make sure to leave it on a flat surface when not in use. At two months, I was already on my 4th replacement batteries. I had to buy a set of AAA rechargeable batteries, but I still wish they would do something to make the batteries last longer.
All in all, good collar. I would suggest investing on a set of AAA rechargeable batteries and leave the receiver unit charging overnight or when you know you will not be using it for a period of time. Highly recommend this product!
