Idea is great but quality is bad, I only use it lightly at home, mainly for DVI and HDMI connection. It starts to have signal problems after about 6 months. I also experience random crash when use this adapter. Bottom line, I dont recommend this product.

DVI Port does not work - MBP 13" 2011 model Mar 09, 2011

I got this because it was cheap and I hoped it would at least work.. I tried it with two different macbook pro laptops. They are both the 13 inch 2011 model. I could not get the DVI port to work on two different monitors, trying both macbook pro computers. I could not get anything to show up on the display. The MBP didn't even detect a secondary display. I could get the HDMI port/connection to my TV to work with no problems but like I said the DVI port didn't work. I did not get a chance to try the regular DisplayPort and I probably won't since it is already not working correctly.

My rating is ZERO. I could not use this item with my computer. I pushed very hard to connect it to the computer but no luck. I felt it will spoil my computer so immediately requested for refund. going to return this item.
Request to the seller: this item is not for pro and mac air [old model]. Please specify with this item. good luck.

I am using this from a 15" MBP for the HDMI output. Seems to work just fine. I Think the seller seems to have changed the item they ship. This ones build quality appears very similar to other true apple products. so far no problems with it at all.

I bought this cable to connect monitor to my Mac Book Pro. I tried to use all 3 options available, none worked.
I was unable to get display on monitor using this, even after looking for possible combinations on Net and trying them. I simply wasted money.
