Not the comforter in the picture, not box construction Mar 11, 2010
By D. Roberts First of all it's not the one in the picture. It looks similar but it's definitly different. Overall the comforter is nice, warm but not too hot and soft. Overall I definitly like it.
However, it's really important to know that it is not true box construction, the down is unevenly distributed from day 1. In fact, I highly doubt it is 700FP. I actually don't mind that it has less fill then it advertises because I like it a little cooler and 750 could get pretty hot. The real issue is that this comforter will not last because the down will shift to sides and corners over time. I've had these types before and they can definitly last a year or two and potentially longer if you rotate them constantly. Given it's $150 for worst case one or two years, it might still be worth it for you.
I told the seller that the product was not "as advertised" and he offered my a $50 refund. This practice is extremely common with false advertising and counterfeit items. Not many retailers can afford do this with genuine products. With that said, I took the $50 and kept the comforter because overall I do like it. I just expect to buy another one fairly quickly due to the poor construction.

I sleep warm! Dec 02, 2009
By Maribel Pintado Espiet My sister gave me this comforter as a pre'Xmas present. It is luxuriously wonderful. 1. Does not smell, even though it says to air because it has been encased in plastic. Used the 1st night. 2. I thought it would be too hot... not at all. It is like sleeping in a womb. An incredible, incredible deal. The finishing of the cover is beautiful. It is the single most expensive piece of bedding I have ever had. Problem: cannot get out of bed these cold mornings in the Northeast!

Great deal! Aug 18, 2010
By Jennifer Lebouef I received my comforter in the mail yesterday and, as some of the other reviews said, it wasn't as puffed up as it looked on the website. I covered my bed with it and let it rest until the night. By the time I went to bed (maybe 10 hours later) it was very puffy and soft and just delightful!
I would definitely recommend buying one of these comforters, especially at that price! It was warm, but not too warm. Very comfortable. Even my husband agreed that it was worth the money! I cannot wait for bedtime tonight!

"Down"-Right Comfort for a "Down"-Low Price Apr 11, 2010
By Paul Parris I have been looking a long time for a product like this, and then to find it at this incredible price! Whoa! Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a quality down comforter in a Cal-King size?
This comforter is so excellently and attractively made (in my humble opinion). It is light as--ahem--a feather, yet comfortably warm. One of the wonderful qualities of down is that you will enjoy a much wider comfort range than you will with synthetic comforters, which tend to run hot, and they're heavier to boot. The shell is beautiful and the stitching is impeccable. This comforter is a quality product that I do not hesitate to recommend to anybody!
If I had to come up with a quibble, it is one that it shares with most bedding I've experienced of late--the comforter could be a foot or two longer. Bedding manufacturers seem to be cutting costs by producing the shortest product they can get away with. The problems is, with a lot of custom mattresses thicker than standard these days, by the time you stick enough sheet or comforter under the mattress to anchor it, you don't get enough at the other end to cover yourself up to your neck and shoulders. If you pull it up to your neck, it comes out at the foot and your feet get cold. And unless you're short, forget about sleeping on your back--there's just not enough material to allow a tent for your feet and cover yourself much beyond your waist at the same time.
Nevertheless, the dimensions of this comforter are more generous than I've experienced with other similar products. You'll not regret the purchase of this comforter, and the colder it gets the "gladder" you'll get!

Full size comforter for a great price Dec 24, 2009

I have just started using this product. I am very satisfied and I have been having no problems with the cold nights since receiving my comforter. I received the purchase very quickly even with Christmas approaching. I am glad that the product is performing as reviewed previously by a New England woman. She indicated the comforter kept her warm at night and she was right.
